Famous thriller Directors

Christopher Nolan

He is a British-American thriller director whose narrative structures often reflect the mental construction of the characters as in, The Dark Night, The prestige and Inception. He was born in London in 1970 and he began making films at the age of 7. Nolan directed his first film  "Following"
in 1998. After the success of the film Newmarket Films optioned the script for Nolan's next Film Memento 












Alfred Hitchcock

Sir Alfred Joseph Hitchcock ( 13. August 1899 in Leytonstone, England - 29. April 1980 in Los Angeles )

was an English film director and producer. He pioneered many techniques in the suspense and psychological thriller genres. Over a career spanning more than half a century, Hitchcock fashioned for himself a distinctive and recognisable directorial style.

David Lynch

David Keith Lynch ( Born January 20, 1946) is an American film director: He is Known for his surrealist films, he has developed a unique style. The surreal and, in many cases, violent elements Contained within his films have been known to "disturb, offend or mystify" audiences.
Over his career, Lynch has received three academy award nominations for Best Director and a nomination for best Screenplay.











Ruben Fleischer

Ruben Samuel Fleischer (born October 31, 1974) is an American film director. He is best known as the director of the critically acclaimed and financially successful Zombieland, his first feature film. He followed it by making the films 30 Minutes or less and Gangster Squad.












Jonathan Demme

Robert Jonathan Demme (born February 22, 1944) is an American filmmaker.
Best Known for directing The Silence of the Lambs, for which he won the Academy Award for best Director.









Quentin Tarantino

Quentin Jerome Tarantino (born March 27, 1963) is an American film director, screenwriter, cinematographer, producer and actor. His films are characterized by non-linear storylines, satirical subject matter and an aestheticization of violence, as well as features of neo-noir film and spaghetti Westerns.






Martin Scorsese

Martin Charles Scorsese was born on November 17, 1942 in New York City. He was raised in Little Italy, that provided later the inspiration for a lot of films. 
I He started in 1964 to produce short films in the next 4 years he earned numerous prices for those movies. His first feature film he directed in 1967 was Who's That Knocking at my Door. 
His latest work is The Wolf of Wall Street, which is probably the best movie of the year 2013 (my opinion).
In my opinion Marin Scorsese is probably the best director of our decade. He produced brilliant movies countless times.
